Gabi Aptelis
BA (Hons), MSc, RIBA - ARB - Architecture

Gabi is a fully qualified Architect, registered with both the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB). She was shortlisted for Young Architect of the Year Award 2023 and brings a wealth of experience, having worked with award-winning architectural firms in both London and Brighton. Gabi has been involved in a wide range of residential projects, from private house refurbishments, rear extensions, and loft conversions to large-scale residential developments valued at up to £12 million and comprehensive master planning schemes.

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Brighton and her Master's degree in Gothenburg, Sweden, where she specialized in Sustainable Architecture and Planning. Her thesis in this field ignited her passion for eco-friendly design technologies, sustainable building materials, and reducing environmental footprints—all while creating high-quality, aesthetically pleasing buildings that respect and enhance the natural environment.

Gabi approaches each project with a keen ability to listen and fully understand her clients' needs. Rather than overwhelming clients with ambitious architectural concepts, she focuses on bringing her ideas and expertise in a way that prioritizes the client's vision. Her down-to-earth style emphasizes functional aesthetics, comfort, and bespoke design, ensuring that every client feels heard and valued throughout the design process.

Sam Aptelis 

BEng (Hons) - Civil Engineering & Construction Management

Sam is an Engineer, holding a degree in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from Brighton University. With extensive experience across various roles in the construction industry—ranging from Project Manager and Site Manager to Structural Engineer and hands-on Foreman—Sam has developed a comprehensive skill set. He has also completed advanced training in Construction Design Management (CDM) and Health & Safety, earning the SMSTS certification for Site Management. He also holds a professional persons CSCS card and is first aid trained.

Sam's expertise spans Structural Engineering consultancy, where he performs calculations and designs for residential and commercial buildings, covering foundations, superstructures, steelwork, timber framing, and more. His portfolio includes working as a Site Manager and working foreman on high-end residential housing projects in central Brighton for well known local contractors upto project values of £1.2m, as well as leading domestic developments such as refurbishments and new builds for multi-unit dwellings and private homes in south London.​​ Sam started his career as a labourer and enjoys getting on the tools  at any opportunity!

Known for his proactive, problem-solving approach, Sam brings a unique blend of academic knowledge, professional expertise, and practical experience to every project. His leadership and communication skills allow him to effectively manage construction projects from inception to completion, coordinating with tradespeople, consultants, and local authorities to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
